Global Development Lead, Internal Medicine (Medical)

Location: Hybrid; Must live within commuting distance of New York City and work on-site an average of 2.5 days per week

Salary: $274,500 – $457,500

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional Clinical Development Teams in the design, execution, and interpretation of studies for worldwide regulatory submissions.
• Create and secure endorsement for Clinical Development Plans and associated protocol design documents.
• Drive regulatory submissions including the SCE, SCS, and clinical overviews.
• Develop clinical development enabling strategies, including digital innovation and patient engagement approaches.
• Engage key external stakeholders such as Ad boards, Steering Committees, and patient advocates to drive strategic insights.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal SOPs and external regulatory standards.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree is required.
• Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer; no visa sponsorship available.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in clinical research and development within academia or the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience as a Cardiologist with cardiovascular outcome trials or large complex global development programs.
• Extensive knowledge of global and regional regulation, ICH/GCP, and adverse event management.
• Demonstrated experience managing and training large teams in clinical development.
