Location: Hybrid role based in Ashburn, Virginia, with at least 3 days per week in the office. Domestic and international travel is expected approximately 5–25% of the time.
Salary: $98,700–$153,200 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do
- Execute audit fieldwork, including testing the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls.
- Support engagement risk assessments, audit planning, scope development, and work-program creation.
- Evaluate risks, control objectives, system controls, and management action plans across complex technology environments.
- Document test results and communicate project status, findings, and audit results to audit and client management.
- Maintain relationships with business stakeholders and identify changes requiring an updated audit response.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives involving AI, advanced data analytics, audit automation, and continuous auditing.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of work experience with a bachelor's or advanced degree.
- 3–6 years of technical experience in information security, operating systems, databases, networks, mobile payments, tokenized services, cloud, virtualization, mainframe, or Hadoop environments.
- Experience evaluating system controls for complex business applications and working in complex operational or regulatory environments.
- Degree in computer science, management information systems, or a STEM field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work from the Ashburn, Virginia office at least 3 days per week and travel domestically and internationally.
Nice to have
- IT audit or audit-related certifications such as CISA, CFE, or CRISC.
- Technical or information security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM.
- Audit experience in a large financial institution, Big Four firm, or matrix organization.
- Broad exposure to information security, network, and access controls.
