Salary: $153,000 – $214,000 USD / $144,000 – $202,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end response to product security incidents, including discovery, triage, remediation, and disclosure.
  • Own and evolve the PSIRT function, including incident classification frameworks, severity models, and response playbooks.
  • Drive Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure (CVD) processes and manage relations with external security researchers.
  • Build and integrate AI-powered tooling and agentic workflows to accelerate detection and response.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Legal, and Communications during active security incidents.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews (PIRs) to translate findings into systemic product and process improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT or Engineering with a strong security focus.
  • Hands-on experience leading security incident response in a SaaS or product company context.
  • Proven ability to build incident response capabilities (playbooks, runbooks, severity frameworks) from the ground up.
  • Experience drafting customer security advisories, CVEs, and public-facing incident communications.
  • Ability to read and write code to support forensic analysis, automation, and tooling.
  • Must be based in the United States or Canada.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with CVSS, EPSS, and Software Bill of Materials (SBOMs).
  • Experience with compliance standards such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
  • Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, or PNPT.
