Associate Cybersecurity Analyst

TL;DR

Associate Cybersecurity Analyst (Governance/Risk): Supporting cybersecurity governance and risk management for financial services systems with an accent on policy development, NIST frameworks, compliance, and threat protection. Focus on auditing remediation, translating business requirements into security initiatives, and evaluating AI-assisted workflows for accuracy, compliance, and bias.

Location: Hybrid in Irving, Texas, United States, with four days per week in the office. Candidates requiring visa sponsorship cannot be considered.

What you will do

• Develop and update cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures based on NIST 800-53 controls and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Audit, track, and close remediation items, findings, policy discrepancies, and change requests.
• Translate business requirements into enterprise security initiatives, requirements, and programs.
• Partner with business stakeholders and project teams on security governance, resource management, and asset management.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness, monitor adherence to controls, and serve as a liaison for cybersecurity concerns.
• Represent the Global Cybersecurity organization on projects and collaborate with internal and external groups.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in complex business environments, including collaborative programs or projects with senior management.
• Knowledge of financial services, information security, cybersecurity risk, privacy, policies, standards, and industry practices.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, information technology systems, infrastructure, operations, and cloud concepts.
• Familiarity with DevOps and Agile development processes, plus strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in access control, network security, governance, risk management, secure software development, security architecture, compliance, audit, or related domains.
• Financial services industry experience.
• Information security certifications.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, bias, ethics, and data protection.
