Performance Test Lead (Fintech)

Salary: $100k - $105k/year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end performance testing activities for enterprise applications.
• Define performance test strategies, workload models, and comprehensive test plans.
• Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Analyze metrics to identify bottlenecks in applications, databases, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with DevOps, architecture, and development teams to resolve performance issues.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and mentor junior testers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in QA/Performance Testing in a lead role.
• Expertise in tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, or Gatling.
• Experience testing Web Applications, APIs, Microservices, and Cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in HTTP, REST APIs, SQL, and Java/.NET architectures.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic.
• Must be located in or able to work in Charlotte, NC.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of container platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in performance engineering and site reliability (SRE).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
