Salary: $165,000 – $272,500

What you will do

• Advise clients on complex tax implications, liabilities, and legislative changes.
• Serve as interim Head of Tax or Tax Leader during leadership transitions and organizational changes.
• Oversee federal, state, and local income tax compliance and review tax provisions under ASC 740.
• Redesign tax operating models and implement tax technology solutions to improve efficiency.
• Lead tax due diligence and manage post-close integration for M&A, carve-outs, and restructurings.
• Act as the primary tax advisor to CFOs, Controllers, and executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
• 13+ years of progressive corporate tax, public accounting, or tax consulting experience.
• Proven experience serving as a Tax Director, Senior Manager, or tax function leader.
• Strong technical knowledge of ASC 740, M&A tax implications, and tax governance.
• Willingness to travel based on client needs.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience supporting private equity-backed companies or complex carve-outs.
• Exposure to indirect tax (Sales & Use, VAT) or tax technology platforms.
