What you will do

• Architect, design, and develop a mission-critical data activation platform.
• Build real-time distributed systems optimized for low latency, high throughput, and high availability.
• Manage data pipelines and stream processing using Kafka, Flink, and Spark.
• Implement caching strategies using Redis and Aerospike to ensure high performance.
• Develop modular, testable code utilizing TDD and dependency injection frameworks like Guice and Spring.
• Monitor service health using Cloudwatch, DataDog, and Grafana.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience designing and developing real-time distributed systems.
• Proficiency in JVM-based languages (Java/Kotlin) and Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Actuator).
• Experience managing AWS components including DynamoDB, S3, SQS, and IAM.
• Expertise in event streaming platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, and SNS.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Mateo, CA.
