Location: Hybrid in Fort Worth, Texas (onsite Tuesday through Thursday; remote Monday and Friday)

Salary: $60 - $65/Hr on W2

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based microservices and reusable software components.
• Build and enhance Spring Boot applications and Kafka-based integrations for scalable, event-driven systems.
• Provide production support, investigate incidents, and perform root-cause analysis to drive corrective actions.
• Optimize applications and system designs for performance, resiliency, durability, and scalability.
• Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices, including automated testing and deployment processes.
• Coach junior engineers on technical craftsmanship, debugging, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7–9 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka.
• Proven experience in production support, debugging, and incident investigation.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Fort Worth, Texas.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, Agile methodologies, and DevOps/CI-CD practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Proficiency in Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, or React.
• Experience within the airline industry.
