Location: Must be based in the USA (residing in CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, or WA). Not eligible for hire within the city limits of Chicago. Hybrid options available in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL.

Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable C++ features for the core product suite.
• Enhance platform performance and support critical system functionality across the software suite.
• Develop high-performance, multi-threaded applications for Windows, Unix/Linux, and Mac environments.
• Build and implement robust testing and quality assurance processes to ensure software reliability.
• Collaborate with Product Designers and Product Managers in an agile, rapid-iteration environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of C++ development experience, with proficiency in C++17 or newer.
• Expertise in Windows or Linux Operating Systems Internals.
• Proficiency working with tools like Qt and CMake.
• Experience developing for Windows, Unix (Linux), Mac, and cross-platform environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
• Not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
