Salary: $185,000 - $200,000 USD

What you will do

• Design and build backend services supporting commerce workflows and complex industry integrations.
• Develop production-grade services using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
• Architect and evolve service-oriented and event-driven systems using SNS, SQS, or event buses.
• Build and maintain APIs used by internal services, external partners, and third-party integrations.
• Manage relational database schema design and query optimization using PostgreSQL.
• Deploy and operate services in AWS environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django.
• Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs with Django REST Framework.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL and handling large datasets.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and event-based workflows.
