What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair hardware and process failures for AMAT (DPSII) tool sets.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities according to standardized work documents.
• Evaluate tool performance using SPC charts and FabGuard Fault Detection (FDC) software.
• Document maintenance activities and assist in improving standardized work procedures.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate equipment downtime with Manufacturing Leads.
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineers on upgrades and process technicians on wafer recoveries.

Requirements

• Must be physically located in Austin, Texas for onsite manufacturing work.
• Associate’s Degree in an engineering or science discipline (or 7+ years of NXP/affiliate experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with AMAT (DPSII) tools is required.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and complex technical drawings/diagrams.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.
