What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend systems and distributed architectures for Federal customers.
• Manage feature development from requirements definition through deployment on classified networks and stakeholder acceptance.
• Orchestrate asynchronous agent fleets and build capabilities such as guardrails, optimized retrieval, deviation alerts, and decision traceability.
• Lead customer engagements and translate mission needs into technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Review machine learning infrastructure and model serving, identifying technical risks and mitigation strategies.
• Contribute technical specifications and direction to the platform roadmap for Federal products.

Requirements

• Experience with full-stack development across frontend, backend, infrastructure, modern web frameworks, programming languages, and databases.
• Experience designing scalable backend systems and distributed architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud-native development, cloud platforms, containerization, and data engineering, including ETL pipelines.
• Familiarity with integrating large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and learn emerging software engineering technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
