What you will do
- Support production coordinators, supervisors, department leadership, and crew with daily operational needs.
- Track work in progress, communicate priorities and status updates, and coordinate department requirements with other teams.
- Manage department calendars, schedule meetings, arrange travel, book rooms, and support departmental moves and setup.
- Gather department-specific research, process timecards, order supplies, prepare shipments, and maintain production records.
- Track production equipment inventory and serve as a secondary contact when production supervisors or coordinators are unavailable.
- Develop familiarity with the department and animation pipeline while maintaining professionalism and proactively taking on new challenges.
Requirements
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work in Glendale, California, in a hybrid arrangement requiring at least four office days per week.
- Proficiency with Gmail, Excel, and other studio software.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
- Prior feature animation production or internship experience and a bachelor’s degree are preferred.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of production tracking databases, Linux, Maya, Shotgun, Flix, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
