What you will do

• Develop robust software prototypes that demonstrate machine learning applications in collaboration with researchers and ML Ops.
• Build data pipelines supporting the machine learning lifecycle and improve research and development velocity through automation.
• Design integrations between machine learning applications and production Fusion software.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions as research projects progress toward pre-production.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker while applying software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with machine learning researchers, developers, product managers, software architects, and UX designers.

Requirements

• Degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• Experience developing and maintaining complex codebases using industry best practices.
• Strong documentation skills for code and software architecture handoffs.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, evolving environments and break large problems into clear, actionable components.
• Must be based in Poland; the role is predominantly home-based with occasional gatherings in Kraków.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Expertise with machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, scikit-learn, or PySpark.
• Experience with big data platforms, orchestration frameworks, analytical environments, or cloud services such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Databricks, SageMaker, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience developing web applications and APIs.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software or the design and manufacturing industries.
