TL;DR

Senior SQL/Power BI Report Developer (Power BI): Developing and optimizing business intelligence reports and dashboards for government mission success with an accent on data management, SQL modeling, and BI platform administration. Focus on improving data retrieval speed, creating innovative data visualizations, and ensuring high-quality data integration.

Location: Hybrid in Washington, DC (2 days a week in office). Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

What you will do

• Develop 2-4 validated reports per week using SSRS and Report Builder.
• Design and optimize SQL data models, data-marts, and ETL processes to enhance data retrieval and consumption.
• Administer the BI platform, managing configuration, security, and overall system maintenance.
• Create advanced Power BI dashboards with intuitive visualizations to support optimal decision-making for management.
• Collaborate with the data integration team to ensure key metrics are accurate, complete, and reliable.
• Provide technical oversight on BI best practices, data integration, and data quality.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance (Public Trust).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of technical and data analysis experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and Power BI dashboard creation.
• Deep knowledge of data management, data-marts, and BI platform administration.

Nice to have

• Experience with report and dashboard migration across different environments.
• Skills in system utilization, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting patches/upgrades.
