What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain reporting, dashboards, and data warehouse solutions for Power Grid Operations.
• Gather reporting requirements from internal customers and translate them into medium- to complex-level Power BI and SSRS solutions.
• Aggregate data from multiple sources to automate manual business processes.
• Develop SQL queries, database objects, stored procedures, tabular models, and cubes using Oracle, SQL Server, PowerPivot, and SSAS.
• Document data warehouses, coordinate with Information Technology, and support cross-training.
• Collaborate with Finance, Project Management, Lighting, and Resource Management while applying project management fundamentals to deliver initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience with Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, and data warehousing fundamentals.
• Strong SQL development skills with Oracle or SQL Server, including database design, tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Experience creating tabular or multidimensional models with PowerPivot or SQL Server Analysis Services.
• Experience with Power Automate and/or Power Apps and the Python programming language.
• Ability to analyze complex business problems systematically and communicate with internal stakeholders.
• Availability for a hybrid assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina, or Raleigh, North Carolina.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Agile fundamentals and project portfolio management tools such as Primavera P6.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with Teams, SharePoint, AI tools, and business metrics and analytics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
