What you will do

• Define engagement scope, risk areas, audit approaches, and procedures.
• Prepare workpapers, obtain evidence, and perform financial audit procedures.
• Track audit progress and communicate engagement status to stakeholders.
• Assess deficiencies, propose corrective remediation plans, and support process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors through reviews, training, and mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in external audit, internal audit, or a related assurance function.
• Experience with process walkthroughs, internal control testing, and audit documentation.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to understand processes and support remediation.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish are required, including the ability to explain findings to non-audit stakeholders.
• CPC, CIA, CPA, or an equivalent certification is preferred.

Nice to have

• Exposure to U.S.-based companies or multinational clients.
• Experience with SOX, CNBV, BMV-listed company audits, or ICFR testing.
