Salary: $141,520–$176,900, $149,840–$187,300, or $166,400–$208,000, depending on location.

What you will do

• Design and deliver core platform components while authoring technical specifications and roadmap proposals.
• Modernize legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native microservices and build robust public-facing APIs.
• Use AI coding assistants and LLMs to accelerate implementation, prototyping, debugging, and automated test generation.
• Own component reliability, security, performance, technical debt reduction, and on-call incident resolution.
• Translate customer and regulatory requirements into developer-focused APIs and application workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute through code reviews, technical talks, RFCs, and operational documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing highly available, secure, mission-critical distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java or Go and experience with AWS services including Lambda, EKS, DynamoDB, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure, microservices, resilient systems, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Experience designing high-volume public APIs and working with SQL/NoSQL databases, Redis, Kafka, or Spark.
• Practical experience using AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor for debugging, code synthesis, and prototyping.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions across engineering and product stakeholders.

• Experience building internal platforms that enable other developer teams to move faster.
• Experience building or integrating AI agents into developer platforms or automated operations workflows.
