Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the development of large-scale software applications, ensuring high quality and adherence to quality-first standards.
• Influence critical architectural decisions to ensure systems remain scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical improvements and align on decision-making.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide guidance on best practices, and set technical standards across projects.
• Take ownership of technical initiatives and proactively address challenges based on support data.
• Implement and advocate for robust quality assurance practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Java software development for product applications.
• 5+ years of experience with highly scalable systems and solving complex design challenges.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) design principles.
• Expertise in API design and RESTful services using frameworks like Jersey or Spring.
• Proficiency in relational database design and development.

Nice to have

• Experience with caching systems, particularly Redis.
