What you will do

• Respond to operational support requests in a 24/5 environment while meeting SLAs and prioritizing work across internal customers.
• Troubleshoot Linux-based hardware systems through terminal tools and investigate issues beyond existing documentation.
• Identify recurring operational problems and collaborate with engineering teams to stabilize support workflows.
• Create and maintain runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and internal technical documentation.
• Build lightweight scripts and basic automation to reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency.
• Transition operational workloads from engineering teams into the Hardware Fleet Operations function.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience supporting or troubleshooting Linux-based systems.
• Experience in technical support, operations, or IT service delivery.
• Comfort working primarily in Linux terminal environments.
• Experience following and improving runbooks, documentation, and operational processes.
• Familiarity with Jira or ServiceNow in an operations context.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting issues and solutions for technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Basic scripting or automation experience with Bash, Python, or similar tools.
• IT support fundamentals, including systems and basic networking concepts at Network+ level or equivalent.
