What you will do

• Design and maintain a scalable Data platform for both batch and streaming workloads.
• Build low-latency services to support real-time decisions, oddsmaking, and risk analysis.
• Implement data catalog and lineage capabilities to enable data users.
• Establish and enforce robust data security architectures and controls.
• Manage platform observability, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure 99.99% system availability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Platform Engineering within high-traffic production environments.
• Proficiency in streaming architectures (Kafka, Flink, PubSub) and low-latency service design.
• Expertise in Python and Go, with deep experience in GCP (BigQuery, GKE) or AWS.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cluster-level management.
• Extensive knowledge of Big Data tools: Spark, Airflow, Iceberg, Lakehouse, Redis, Elasticsearch.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Background in Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS), oddsmaking, or high-frequency trading.
• Experience bridging historical batch data with real-time event streams.
• Ability to enable self-service pipeline development for data teams.
• Experience with AI agents and AI-assisted coding.
