Data Engineer (Python)

Location: Cyprus, with temporary remote work available before relocation to Limassol

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, Airflow, dbt, Kubernetes, and Spark.
• Support the data platform through integrations, technical implementation, and data quality improvements.
• Build redundant data transformation pipelines across different domains and a centralized Operational Data Store.
• Conduct new data integrations and provide support to analytics teams.
• Document technical solutions and maintain reliable data workflows.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a data engineer.
• Strong Python programming skills outside Airflow and advanced SQL.
• Experience with Docker, Kafka, Airflow, and Spark.
• Knowledge of column-store databases and an understanding of how web applications work.
• Ability to relocate to Cyprus and work from the Limassol office after the temporary remote period.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, ClickHouse, S3, Iceberg, Kubernetes, or a data-mesh approach.
