What you will do

  • Set the technical vision, roadmap, architecture, and priorities for the Scene Generation team.
  • Lead development of neural-rendering and generative-model approaches for camera, LiDAR, and radar simulation.
  • Translate research advances into scalable, production-quality software for autonomous-driving training and validation.
  • Own the neural-rendering framework from research and design through testing, cloud integration, deployment, and scaling.
  • Drive technical alignment with peer teams and leadership across the autonomous-vehicle organization.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring, onboarding, and career development.

Requirements

  • Advanced experience in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, or a related field, with 5–10+ years of relevant experience depending on degree level.
  • Strong Python and PyTorch experience, including production software delivery and technical-team leadership.
  • Expertise in neural rendering, including Neural Radiance Fields and 3D Gaussian Splatting, plus generative models such as diffusion models and flow matching.
  • Background in computer vision, computer graphics, 3D reconstruction, or 3D computer vision.
  • Experience with autonomous-driving or robotics data across cameras, LiDAR, and radar, including multiple timestamps and sensor modalities.
  • Experience with cloud-based ML development environments, VDI, technical ownership, consensus building, and mentoring engineers.

Nice to have

  • CUDA programming for efficient large-scale rendering.
  • Publications in leading computer vision, AI, or graphics conferences or journals.
  • MLOps and infrastructure experience with tools such as Ray.
  • Experience with 3D labeling, calibration, sensor-simulation pipelines, or formal people management.
