What you will do

• Develop on-vehicle embedded software and firmware using C and C++ in a real-time environment.
• Create supporting tools to integrate embedded systems with off-vehicle infrastructure using Python.
• Author detailed requirements and design documentation for new firmware features and solutions.
• Coordinate with Component V&V Engineers to establish and maintain high quality bars through test strategies.
• Troubleshoot and root-cause complex system-level problems from the field down to the platform internals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ development and systems programming.
• Experience working within a real-time (RTOS) environment and RTOS platform development.
• Strong understanding of how to link software/firmware to hardware.
• Knowledge of MCU bootloader architecture and functionality.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python development.
• Network/CAN programming expertise.
• Extensive experience with bootloader implementation.
• Knowledge of MCU security.
