What you will do

• Build and own ETL pipelines, dashboards, and audit-ready data architecture for internal audit and compliance.
• Collaborate on stewardship of shared datasets and systems in scope for audit.
• Drive improvements in governance, communication, and change management impacting audit processes.
• Develop reusable audit-ready dataset patterns with automated validation and monitoring.
• Analyze and reengineer processes and datasets to address operational pain points.
• Provide technical guidance translating audit requests into technical specifications.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States with remote work allowed.
• 7+ years experience in data analytics or engineering supporting audit, risk, or SOX compliance in fintech or crypto.
• Proven experience designing data architecture with governance, traceability, and audit considerations.
• Strong hands-on skills with SQL, Python, dbt, Airflow, and production data pipelines.
• Experience documenting technical/business requirements and managing data workflows.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge audit and technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience building or scaling data analytics functions within audit or risk organizations.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for data quality and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of audit management platforms like AuditBoard, Jira, or Workiva.
