What you will do

• Define and execute the long-term data engineering strategy for Player, Partner and Enterprise data products.
• Lead domain-aligned engineering organizations operating on a centralized, governed lakehouse platform.
• Modernize legacy pipelines using Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Kafka and Apache Iceberg across batch, streaming and event-driven workloads.
• Establish standards for data modeling, quality, lineage, observability, security, privacy and fine-grained access control.
• Partner with Data Platform, AI/ML, Analytics, BI, Governance, Privacy and Security teams to make data discoverable and usable.
• Build and grow high-performing global engineering teams while improving delivery speed, reliability and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing, building and scaling enterprise-grade data engineering solutions for analytics, experimentation and machine learning.
• Deep expertise in data architecture, modeling, ELT/ETL frameworks and distributed processing for batch and real-time workloads.
• Proven experience with Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Kafka, open lakehouse formats, cloud-native ecosystems and modern data governance.
• Experience modernizing and migrating legacy data pipelines, implementing data quality, lineage, observability and reliability practices.
• Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills, with experience building and mentoring high-performing global engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP, Atlan, Immuta and Monte Carlo.
• Familiarity with attribution, identity resolution, causal measurement and experimentation.
• Experience applying AI-assisted development and automation to data engineering workflows.
