What you will do

• Lead and perform engineering projects involving hydraulic components, systems, products, and services.
• Design and validate hydraulic systems supporting vehicle steering, braking, suspension, and hoist functions.
• Develop robust hydraulic architectures that integrate with controls, software, high-bandwidth vehicle networks, and over-the-air updates.
• Conduct engineering investigations, calculations, simulations, and validation tests.
• Improve engineering processes and support global design, safety, and engineering standards.
• Assist project management with planning and execution of hydraulic system design and validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent relevant discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 12+ years of engineering design or machine application experience, with a strong focus on hydraulic systems and components for mobile equipment and mining.
• Strong knowledge of fluid power fundamentals and controls technologies.
• Proficiency with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, AMESim, or Automation Studio.
• Experience with computer-aided design tools, Lean Engineering, and Change Management.
• International assignment experience is required.

Nice to have

• Certified Fluid Power Engineer or Specialist certification.
• Professional registration or membership in technical committees or societies.
• Master’s degree in Engineering.
