Base pay: $117,800–$200,300 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and prototype-test opto-mechanical assemblies for next-generation broadband plasma wafer inspection systems.
• Collaborate with core suppliers on mechanism development.
• Sustain existing broadband plasma product lines in partnership with the manufacturing division.
• Work with systems, optical, electrical, and software engineers to derive subsystem requirements and conduct design reviews.
• Develop precision mechanisms, including actuator selection, tolerance analysis, lifetime evaluation, optics mounting, and alignment and adjustment systems.
• Qualify and release mechanism designs and support onsite manufacturing.

Requirements

• Doctorate, master's degree, or bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with CAD modeling; Creo experience is preferred.
• Experience developing precision mechanisms and optical assemblies.
• Experience with thermal and structural simulation; flow analysis and ANSYS experience are preferred.
