What you will do

• Perform routine animal husbandry duties, including observing and reporting animal health, behavior, and consumption.
• Provide basic veterinary medical treatment as prescribed by veterinary staff.
• Support research by performing technical services such as restraint, dose administration, and blood collection.
• Operate and maintain cage wash equipment.
• Ensure all activities comply with USDA Animal Welfare Act, GLP, and AAALAC standards.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED with 2 to 3 years of experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical activities (pushing, pulling, bending).
• Availability for weekend and holiday work as essential personnel.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States.

Nice to have

• AALAS Certification.
• Previous experience working with laboratory animals.
