is hiring for its Shared Services Information Technology department to build and operate enterprise data platform capabilities.
What you will do
- Build and operate the enterprise data catalog, metadata standards, lineage capture, and federated data product review process.
- Implement pipeline-level data quality checks, alerting, remediation workflows, governance dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Configure Snowflake RBAC, row- and column-level security, classification tags, masking policies, and access workflows.
- Govern event schemas and contracts, including registry configuration, retention policies, access rights, and documentation.
- Define the governance strategy, operating model, standards, roadmap, stewardship expectations, and policy lifecycle.
- Partner with platform engineers, domain teams, Security, Risk, Legal, and Architecture while building a governance function over time.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of experience across data governance, data platform engineering, data architecture, analytics engineering, or related fields.
- 3+ years in a leadership or lead role overseeing governance programs, stewardship models, or cross-functional data operating frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake governance controls, including RBAC, row- and column-level security, classification tags, masking policies, and access governance.
- Experience implementing data catalogs, automated lineage, pipeline data quality rules, event contracts, schemas, and data product governance standards.
- Experience designing AI or agent-based governance controls covering data usage, sensitive-data access, auditability, and context traceability.
- Strong systems thinking, communication, engineering collaboration, and understanding of governance across architecture, delivery, and business consumption.
Nice to have
- Experience in regulated, security-sensitive, or compliance-driven environments.
- Experience with Kafka, MuleSoft, or equivalent streaming and messaging platforms.
