Location: Fully site-based in Greenwood, South Carolina, United States; 1st shift with occasional off-shift, weekend, holiday, and emergency response support. Travel is less than 10%.

What you will do

• Serve as the facilities subject matter expert for HVAC, air compressors, chilled water, vacuum systems, heat exchangers, and building infrastructure.
• Monitor facility performance through building management systems and analyze equipment trends.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on facility and site utility equipment.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and contractors on maintenance, installations, commissioning, training, validation, and improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate records, execute safe work permits, and provide technical guidance to facilities technicians.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial facility systems, including large HVAC or compressed air systems.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, piping, welding, electrical, and general building maintenance practices.
• Ability to analyze equipment performance data and implement corrective actions.
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance systems, building management systems, and Microsoft Office.
• High school diploma required; an associate degree in HVAC, mechatronics, industrial engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
• Waste Water Class D certification is required within two years of hire; occasional off-shift, weekend, holiday, and emergency response work is required.
