What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain new workflows to streamline tools, shaders, and character processes.
• Create highly detailed character and creature models, UVs, and in-game topology based on concept art.
• Develop high-poly models and textures that push technical boundaries while remaining within constraints.
• Collaborate with rigging, animation, FX, and lighting artists to ensure artistic and technical cohesion.
• Provide aesthetic and technical direction to other character artists.
• Evaluate and demo new 3rd party software and document pipelines for internal and external use.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a character artist, including at least one AAA title.
• Expertise in PBR materials, topology, and in-game character pipelines.
• Highly skilled in sculpting, modeling, texturing, and shading for games.
• Advanced knowledge of hair curve and card creation for next-gen games.
• Keen eye for form, lighting, colors, and composition.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality character work.

Nice to have

• Intermediate knowledge of Python scripting.
