What you will do

• Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of World Builders and Level Artists.
• Collaborate with Art Directors to ensure artistic consistency and unity across the project.
• Partner with Design and Narrative Leads to create believable and immersive environments.
• Design and improve modular architectural systems for game levels.
• Coordinate workflows, manage asset lists, and establish realistic development schedules.
• Guide the career growth and performance development of the art team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in game development with a focus on environmental art or level architecture.
• At least 2 shipped titles, including at least one in a leadership capacity (AAA preferred).
• Proficiency with UE5 (preferred), 3ds Max, Maya, ZBrush, Substance, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of spatial composition, proportions, and basic architecture.
• Proven track record of mentoring artists and managing team performance.
• Must be based in or able to work from Novato, California
