Location: Billund, Denmark; hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office. Occasional travel to manufacturing sites is required.

What you will do

• Lead automated manufacturing equipment platform development projects from concept and business case through implementation and operational handover.
• Define project scope based on internal customer needs and manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate specialists, suppliers, partners, and cross-functional colleagues to deliver scalable and reliable manufacturing solutions.
• Establish project governance, roles, responsibilities, and execution standards.
• Support operational transition, equipment validation, and implementation at manufacturing sites.
• Conduct after-action reviews and improve project management practices using agile principles where relevant.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading complex engineering or manufacturing equipment development projects in large international organisations.
• Relevant educational background and experience working across multiple disciplines.
• Strong negotiation, communication, influencing, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and empowering project team members.
• Experience developing project management processes, tools, and standard methodologies.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of FMEA, Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, and technical documentation.
• Experience with industrialisation, digitalisation, or Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Familiarity with Scrum or similar agile project approaches.
