What you will do

• Own manual test case design and execution for release cycles to prevent regressions.
• Develop automation skills via Playwright training and pairing with senior engineers.
• Gradually transition to automation tasks within a cross-functional embedded QA model.
• Integrate AI-assisted testing and development tools into the daily workflow.
• Contribute to the QA guild and internal tech talks to share knowledge.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of software, QA, or technical support experience.
• Proficiency in manual testing and a strong desire to learn automation.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in an Agile environment.
• Must be eligible to work in South Africa without visa sponsorship.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for distributed team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Playwright or other modern automation frameworks.
• Experience working on high-growth SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development or testing tools.
