Salary: $107,000–$157,300 base salary for Canada-based roles, with potential bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable cloud services, platform components, and product applications.
• Build APIs, SDKs, distributed systems, and reusable platform capabilities for product interoperability.
• Improve reliability, security, observability, performance, and operational excellence across SaaS services.
• Participate in technical design reviews, architectural decisions, Agile planning, releases, and production support.
• Collaborate with product management, UX, architecture, QA, and engineering teams to deliver customer value.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code quality, knowledge sharing, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, with knowledge of object-oriented design and software architecture.
• Experience building cloud applications, distributed systems, or SaaS solutions, including hands-on experience with AWS or another cloud platform.
• Experience developing APIs and services with REST, GraphQL, gRPC, or similar technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, Agile development, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global products, BIM workflows, AEC technologies, or design and engineering software.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, .NET/C#, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with AI-powered applications, automation, visualization, rendering, or graphics technologies.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, large-scale distributed systems, APIs, SDKs, or developer platforms.
• Experience with observability, production operations, Git, and mentoring engineers.
