Salary: $147,000 - $174,000 CAD

What you will do

• Own the full development lifecycle of public APIs and platform features from design to production monitoring
• Translate developer needs into scalable technical solutions in partnership with product management
• Mentor other engineers through design reviews and code reviews
• Contribute to the long-term technical direction and architecture of the developer platform

Requirements

• Professional experience designing and maintaining scalable backend or full-stack platform systems
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript
• Experience building APIs, webhooks, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with OAuth, permission models, rate limits, and event delivery
• Must be based in Vancouver, Canada

Nice to have

• Experience building developer platforms or integrations
• Experience with data pipelines (ETL) or high-throughput async systems like Redis and message queues
