Location: Must be based in Austin, TX (Hybrid - requires at least 3 days in office)

Salary: $173,100 - $276,800 USD per year

What you will do

• Implement and enhance Model Risk Management (MRM) processes across the model lifecycle, including inventory and validation coordination.
• Design and mature a portfolio-wide incident management program for model, data, and technology events.
• Establish risk assessments, controls, and monitoring frameworks supporting AI, analytics, and fraud products.
• Lead day-to-day execution of audit readiness programs and coordinate resolution of compliance gaps and control deficiencies.
• Automate governance, compliance, and audit support activities to improve operational efficiency.
• Recruit and mentor high-performing teams focused on governance operations and operational resilience.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 8+ years with an Advanced degree.
• Experience leading operational risk, governance, or MRM programs within financial services or highly regulated industries.
• Proven track record of designing governance frameworks and operating procedures for regulatory and audit objectives.
• Experience leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Legal teams.
• Must be based in the US and able to work from the Austin, TX office at least 3 days per week.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for engaging with senior leadership and regulators.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agentic AI, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Large Transaction Models (LTMs).
• Experience working effectively within Agile frameworks in complex matrixed organizations.
• Advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
