TL;DR
Change Manager (Information Technology): Governing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT changes across global technology departments with an accent on risk-based assessment, ITIL practices, stakeholder alignment, and audit-ready governance. Focus on coordinating high-availability infrastructure changes, improving change reliability, and strengthening operational resilience across distributed teams and time zones.
Location: Remote within the United States, or hybrid in Denver, Colorado with 3 days onsite and 2 flexible days. Travel is required at approximately 10% and may increase over time.
Salary: $130,000–$170,000 base plus bonus.

What you will do
- Lead and continuously improve global IT change management processes and governance.
- Manage change requests from intake and risk assessment through approval, execution, validation, and post-change review.
- Facilitate change advisory discussions, readiness reviews, scheduling reviews, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate change execution and dependencies with business teams, regional stakeholders, vendors, and managed service providers.
- Maintain audit-ready records and report change KPIs, risks, failed changes, emergency changes, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop guidance, templates, training, and automation improvements that strengthen service delivery and operational resilience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, networking, cloud, service delivery, service desk, or data center technology, including at least 2 years in change management, ITSM, governance, or operational controls.
- Strong understanding of ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
- Experience with ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM and change management platform.
- Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, endpoint management, and high-availability environments.
- Strong risk assessment, communication, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with operational metrics, KPI reporting, audit support, compliance, automation, and workflow improvement.
- Data center, colocation, mission-critical facilities, or global operations experience.
