What you will do
- Act as the functional and solution design authority for the ERP landscape.
- Own end-to-end design and configuration for Finance and Procurement, including Record to Report, Procure to Pay, controlling, and master data.
- Review, challenge, and approve solution designs delivered by system integrators and third-party consultants.
- Shape ERP extensibility, integration, data migration, controls, and compliance decisions with technical stakeholders.
- Define the functional testing strategy, acceptance criteria, and defect prioritisation.
- Help build and lead the broader ERP functional capability as the programme evolves.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience delivering modern cloud ERP solutions, such as SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or Oracle NetSuite.
- Deep, independent functional expertise in Finance and Procurement.
- Experience acting as a functional or solution design authority on ERP programmes.
- Strong understanding of ERP architecture, extensibility, integrations, data governance, controls, and auditability.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior Finance, Procurement, and IT stakeholders and challenge vendors constructively.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, product-led, scale-up, or transformation environments is valuable.
Nice to have
- Experience with analytics, reporting, and BI design in ERP contexts.
- Exposure to Order to Cash functional oversight.
