What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of enhancements for Workday and the broader People Tech stack to ensure scalable solutions.
• Configure and maintain Workday HCM business processes, security, notifications, and reporting across the employee lifecycle.
• Design, build, and maintain integrations between Workday and external systems (e.g., Adaptive, Ashby, payroll providers) using Workato and AI tools.
• Partner with stakeholders in People, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and BizTech to translate business needs into system solutions.
• Implement AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual effort and enhance data integrity and user experience.
• Monitor integration health, perform root cause analysis, and maintain system governance documentation.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of techno-functional experience with Workday HCM.
• Hands-on expertise in Workday configuration (business processes, security, reporting, notifications).
• Proven experience building Workday integrations using EIB, RaaS, Core Connectors, or Studio.
• Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, and integration patterns.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical language.
• Familiarity with iPaaS platforms like Workato and a willingness to experiment with AI-powered tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning and workforce planning integrations.
• Familiarity with Ashby or other ATS platforms.
• Experience supporting global payroll and EOR integrations (e.g., Deel, ADP, Activpayroll).
• Experience implementing AI/ML tools such as chatbots or predictive analytics within People Operations.
