What you will do

• Assess prospective pharmaceutical and Life Sciences customers’ business processes, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
• Define high-level MES solution approaches aligned with customer requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Prepare and deliver tailored product demonstrations, presentations, and value-based narratives for diverse stakeholders.
• Create segment-specific MBR, EBR, and W&D configurations illustrating process fit, equipment integration, and regulatory workflows.
• Support opportunity qualification through estimates, implementation plans, risk-aware scoping, RFP responses, and SOW analysis.
• Perform Rapid Value Assessments, ROI and TCO analyses, and collaborate with Sales, Product, and Delivery on handovers and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems and modern production environments.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and the ability to translate customer needs into solution concepts.
• Confidence delivering product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to varied audiences.
• Ability to work remotely with internationally distributed virtual teams and flexibility to travel.
• Excellent spoken and written English and German communication skills.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to deepen expertise in MES, manufacturing processes, and industry best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating MES with ERP, PLM, LIMS, or equipment interfaces.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment standards, communication protocols, and regulatory frameworks such as GxP, FDA/EMA, GAMP 5, and ALCOA+.
• Background in software development or scripting, including .NET, C#, SQL, or automation frameworks.
• Prior experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, customer-facing technical roles, or high-mix manufacturing.
• Experience creating demo assets, solution accelerators, industry templates, or additional language skills.
