What you will do

• Architect cloud security foundations across AWS and GCP, including IAM models and network segmentation.
• Author reusable Terraform modules and implement policy-as-code guardrails to prevent insecure deployments.
• Design and operate cloud identity systems, workload identity, and secure cross-cloud access patterns.
• Lead the security design of cloud networking, including VPC architecture and isolation boundaries.
• Own Kubernetes and container security for production workloads on GKE and EKS.
• Build security automation for CI/CD and develop high-signal detection and monitoring pipelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience building cloud security platforms or foundational infrastructure in AWS and GCP.
• Deep fluency in Terraform, including large-scale state management and module design.
• Strong expertise in cloud IAM and networking design based on real-world experience.
• Ability to define long-term technical direction and operate in ambiguous environments.
• Location: Must be based in New York City (On-site)

Nice to have

• Experience designing multi-account AWS organizations or large GCP project hierarchies.
• Familiarity with policy-as-code systems like OPA.
• Background in high-growth startups or infrastructure-heavy platforms.
