What you will do

• Secure the entire stack, from Kubernetes clusters on GCP to SaaS integrations and developer workflows.
• Build internal tooling and CI/CD automations to detect and prevent vulnerabilities before they hit production.
• Lead threat modeling sessions and secure code reviews to ensure secure-by-default APIs and deployments.
• Harden authentication and access control across all internal and external surfaces using a first-principles approach.
• Own the Bug Bounty Program, including launching, triaging reports, and driving remediation.
• Lead incident response, orchestrate penetration testing, and conduct blameless postmortems to drive systemic change.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering with a deep obsession with security.
• Deep familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes (GKE), and containerized environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.
• Proven track record of responding to real-world security incidents and leading remediation efforts.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment (100–300 people) and prioritize under pressure.
