Location: New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA; comfortable working in the Eastern Time Zone and able to travel up to 25% to office sites.

What you will do

• Manage and design office, warehouse, and distributed-site networks covering switching, routing, wireless, firewalls, ISP connectivity, Starlink, and site-to-site VPNs.
• Operate AWS networking across VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, load balancers, security groups, and hybrid connectivity.
• Automate network infrastructure with Terraform and Terragrunt, including CI/CD validation and drift prevention.
• Troubleshoot complex physical, logical, cloud, and Kubernetes networking issues using packet captures and diagnostic tools.
• Own network incidents from initial alert through root cause analysis, post-incident improvements, and documentation.
• Partner with engineering, security, and IT leadership on architecture, remediation, vendor evaluation, and infrastructure investments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressively senior network engineering experience with deep ownership of switching, routing, wireless, and firewalls.
• 5+ years administering enterprise wireless and switching platforms, preferably Cisco Meraki, including VLAN design, switch stacks, and RF tuning.
• Hands-on Palo Alto experience with security policies, NAT, IPSec/SSL VPN, and Panorama.
• Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs, IPSec, DNS, SNMP, and DHCP, with command-line troubleshooting skills.
• Strong AWS networking, Terraform, Linux, Kubernetes networking, incident ownership, documentation, and stakeholder communication experience.
• Must be comfortable working in the Eastern Time Zone and traveling up to 25% to office sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with Strata Cloud Manager, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
