Salary: €84,000–€115,000 per year, excluding discretionary bonuses, equity, and localized benefits.

What you will do

• Establish, manage, and annually evaluate the company-wide risk management framework, policies, procedures, and risk register.
• Recommend risk appetite statements, tolerance limits, measurement methodologies, monitoring tools, and targeted mitigation actions.
• Identify, assess, quantify, monitor, and mitigate integrity, AML/CFT, fraud, ICT, operational, market, credit, legal, compliance, conflict-of-interest, outsourcing, and other risks.
• Design and oversee credit and counterparty risk policies and exposure monitoring.
• Partner with senior management and business units on risk exposures, controls, performance metrics, and new product development.
• Lead regional incident response and crisis management, and prepare reports for the Board, management, auditors, and regulators.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in financial services or compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical ability, sound judgment, and reliable follow-up skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and promptly and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Genuine interest in digital assets and blockchain technology, with willingness to continuously learn.
• Ability to undergo the MFSA PQ process is required.

• Experience or familiarity with the crypto, investment, or banking sectors.
