Salary: €75,000 - €95,000 + Incentive Awards.

What you will do

• Implement and embed hirify.global’s Risk Management Framework within the Spanish branch.
• Act as the primary 2LOD point of contact for local regulatory engagements with Banco de España.
• Oversee operational, ICT, security, and conduct risk profiles to ensure robust internal controls.
• Serve as the Deputy MLRO for Spain, supporting AML/CFT compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Provide independent oversight and challenge to local business strategies and credit portfolio performance.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive risk and compliance training programs for local staff.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance, or Internal Audit within a regulated retail or digital bank.
• Native or bilingual Spanish speaker with professional proficiency in English.
• Deep understanding of Banco de España regulations and EBA/ECB requirements (CRD V, PSD2/3, GDPR, DORA, AML/CFT).
• Proven experience managing multiple risk types, including Operational, ICT/Security, and Conduct risk.
• Demonstrated ability to work with regulatory authorities and manage compliance-related audits.
• Self-starter mentality comfortable working within a matrix reporting structure.
