What you will do

• Implement features and functionality from technical specifications using team coding standards.
• Build and support integrations with APIs, databases, and external systems.
• Debug software defects and develop unit tests to maintain code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and document code and technical processes.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and colleagues across multiple geographies.
• Develop expertise in software engineering, blockchain technologies, and fintech domain practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–5 years of professional software development experience, including internships and academic projects.
• Proficiency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Java, or Rust.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, Git, and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
• English is required; the role is on-site in Switzerland, with a focus on Lugano.

Nice to have

• Understanding of blockchain, distributed systems, or cryptography.
• Experience with API design, RESTful services, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, or Docker.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
• Swiss German/German, French, and/or Italian language skills.
• Open-source contributions or a personal coding portfolio.
