What you will do

• Design and optimize block production mechanisms to enhance the throughput and stability of the Solana network.
• Develop scheduling mechanisms for efficient transaction processing and fair resource allocation.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities within the block production pipeline.
• Improve pipeline scalability to handle increasing transaction volumes and validator participation.
• Design high-performance shared-memory interfaces for low-latency coordination between scheduling and execution.
• Create comprehensive tests, including stress tests and performance benchmarking, to validate reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering (or equivalent) and 3+ years of experience with core infrastructure software and distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in systems programming languages such as Rust, C, or C++.
• Experience with distributed systems and blockchain technology.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and apply performance profiling and optimization techniques.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Linux, systems architecture, and systems automation tools.
• Experience designing secure protocols and algorithms that minimize trust requirements.
