hirify.global SA is a Luxembourg-based non-life insurance company expanding its operations through a newly established Italian branch.

What you will do

• Implement and adapt the hirify.global SA Legal and Compliance framework for the Italian branch, including policies, procedures, controls, reporting processes, and local registers.
• Provide day-to-day legal and regulatory advice on insurance regulation, distribution, product governance, contracts, marketing materials, complaints, disputes, outsourcing, and branch governance.
• Act as the local regulatory contact in Italy, coordinating interactions with IVASS and other authorities and preparing regulatory responses.
• Support product development, distribution models, customer documentation, compliance monitoring, testing, remediation, and conduct risk management.
• Manage local incidents, breaches, complaints, disputes, litigation, and external counsel under central oversight.
• Deliver training, conduct regulatory horizon scanning, and collaborate with the central Legal and Compliance team and European branches.

Requirements

• Italian qualified lawyer or legal/compliance professional with strong knowledge of the Italian insurance regulatory environment.
• Typically 5–10 years of experience in insurance legal, regulatory, or compliance roles.
• Strong understanding of Italian non-life insurance regulation, IVASS requirements, insurance distribution, product governance, and conduct of business rules.
• Experience with commercial contracts, distribution arrangements, outsourcing, complaints, regulatory matters, and business projects.
• Pragmatic, business-focused approach with strong stakeholder management, organization, autonomy, and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English.
